This standard defines the requirements for the behaviour, manufacture, installation and verification of industrialized systems for buildings built from prefabricated concrete elements. Compliance with these requirements shall provide the industrialized system with the characteristics and performance necessary to comply, by itself or by adding other complementary elements (e.g. thermal insulation, sound insulation, waterproofing elements), with the regulatory and functional requirements applicable to them in each case. Where the industrialized system needs the addition of these complementary elements to meet these requirements, this standard provides for the possibility of such addition occurring in the factory by incorporating the complementary elements into the prefabricated concrete elements, or by incorporating them during the assembly of the industrialized system itself. This standard does not include particular requirements applicable to these supplementary elements.
