This standard is applicable to plugs and socket-outlets, fixed or movable, for a.c. circuits, with earthing contact, for voltages above 50 V but not exceeding 440 V, with a rated current 16 A, and with a protection degree against ingress of water and solid objects IP65, IP67 and IP65/67.
