This Part 3 of the UNE 211024 Standard, which shall be read in combination with Part 1, aims to define the characteristics that shall be met and the tests that shall be passed by mechanical tightening connection accessories intended for joining cables to electrical equipment and electrical cables to each other. The designation of the preferred constructions of the accessories of this standard indicates the range of maximum and minimum allowable sections of each model. It does not imply that the accessory is designed to be used in all intermediate sections. This standard does not apply to bare conductor connectors and type RZ overhead cables (which have been designed with specific mechanical requirements).
