This document specifies three methods for the determination of the biomass content in solid recovered fuels: the 14C content method, the selective dissolution and the manual sorting methods. A value of 10 % biogenic carbon can be considered as the lower range of application of 14C method by LSC. The SDM method is applicable for the biomass percentage content between 10 % and 90 %.
