This standard establishes quality requirements for sales activity, additional services and complementary services in fishmongers considered as a small trade , to meet customer expectations regardless of the nature of the comercialized products. Fishmongers that are sections of other retail formats, specifically, supermarkets and hypermarkets are excluded. Establishments must comply with applicable law, but it is not the object of this standard to verify the compliance. This standard establishes requirements for comercialized products , since the quality of service in these establishments is directly related to product quality. It is not the subject of this standard to establish a management system.
