The aim of this document is to elaborate a protocol of action in urban areas against subterranean termite attacks, in order to deal with this specific problem and to serve as a base document for the treatment of all wood-destroying agents. This document is presented as a recommended protocol of action to be followed by public authorities, organizations and treatment companies, in the event that a set of buildings or and urban area be affected by subterranean termite attacks. With this document it is pretended the systematization of subterranean termite plague control interventions in urban areas, in buildings and their environments, through the specification of basic requirements for elaborating a diagnosis and a treatment to be tendered independently.
