This standard establishes a visual classification system applicable to sawn wood with rectangular cross section for structural use of the main species of Spanish hardwoods. This standard applies to the grading of sawn timber for structural uses of the species of Spanish origin listed in table 1. Table 1 - Species of Spanish origin applicable to this standard This standard does not apply to the grading of finger-jointed structural timber.
