This standard specifies requirements for alkali-resistant (AR) glass fibres for structural or non structural in concrete, mortar and grout use. Note: The structural use of fibres in concrete occurs when fibres are intended to contribute the load bearing capacity of a concrete element. This standard covers these fibres to be used in concrete and mortars, including sprayed concrete, concrete for ground and paving use, prefabricated concrete, in situ, and repair concrete.
