This document specifies a security certification approach for smart electricity meters. It provides a general solution for security certification to avoid fragmentation and to enable mutual recognition of certificates in Europe. It defines the functional requirements and assurance criteria (see the Common Criteria in ISO/IEC 15408 (all parts)) for security certification. This Protection Profile does not define specific types of sensitive personal information or personally identifiable information.
