This document defines the policy, functional and security requirements on (qualified) trust services for electronic ledger. This includes requirements to ensure: their provision by one or more trust service providers; the establishment of the origin of data records in the ledger; the unique sequential chronological ordering of data records in the ledger; the recording of data in such a way that any subsequent change to the data are immediately detectable, ensuring their integrity over time.
