This document specifies test methods for the evaluation of aspects of absorbency of wound dressings, test methods for the evaluation of moisture vapour transmission rate of permeable film wound and IV catheter dressings, and test methods to assess waterproofness and conformability. Except for the requirements for waterproofness, this document does not contain performance requirements for test methods.
