Esta norma europea especifica un método para la determinación cuantitativa del contenido de inhibidores de la ureasa triamida del ácido N-(n-butil) tiofosfórico (NBPT, Nº CAS 94317-64-3) y triamida del ácido N-(n-propil) tiofosfórico (NPPT, Nº CAS 916809-14-8) en fertilizantes a base de urea, mediante cromatografía líquida de alta resolución (HPLC).
