This standard, together with the UNE-EN 1340 Standard, specifies the properties, requirements and test methods of prefabricated non-reinforced concrete kerb units, rygolas and complementary accessories intended for use in paved areas with traffic and roofs. The units are suitable for one or more of the following uses: separation, physical or visual delimitation, drainage or evacuation of water or confinement of paved areas or other surfaces. In case these parts must withstand the regular passage of studded tyres, additional requirements will sometimes be required. This standard provides complementary criteria to those defined in the UNE-EN 1340 Standard for the assessment of the conformity of products, their marking and the conditions of supply and reception of the same.
