This standard provides additional requirements with respect to the mandatory minimum requirements established in RD 614/2001 for the protection of the health and safety of workers against electrical risk. It also provides health and safety recommendations in order to harmonise and improve the integration of safety in the execution of this type of work. The additional requirements included in this document do not replace those included in the specific regulations applicable to work on electrical installations, which must in any case be complied with.
