The purpose of this standard is to establish the test methods and specifications for two-piece natural cork stoppers, ready for use, used to stopper still wine bottles, which comply with the UNE-EN 12726 Standard for cork stoppers with an inlet diameter of 18.5 mm for safety corks and capsules. This standard applies to two-piece natural cork stoppers which, when joined lengthwise, form a cylindrical stopper.
