This document presents a guide or technical specification aimed at guiding and assisting organisations in the adoption and integration in IT areas of management systems based on ISO standards, recognised management frameworks and specific best practices. The goal is to draw lessons from successful experiences to ease the way in the adoption and integration of Accredited Knowledge and thus contribute to the resolution of the various starting issues of IT organisations. It is proposed to provide guidance for the adoption of the more complex frameworks and standards on the one hand, and a simple way to adopt concrete and individual practices on the other hand. In this guide, recommendations are formulated to help on the way to adopting best practices, integrating existing knowledge and aligned with the ISO culture. The scope of application focuses on the areas of information technology (IT), for all types and sizes of organisations. But as it is about adopting or improving ways of working, the recommendations are clearly applicable to other areas of organisations as well.
