The purpose of this standard is to establish the test method for determining the setting time of concrete with a consistency greater than zero by measuring the penetration resistance of a sample of mortar obtained by sieving the concrete mix. This test method is used only when the mortar fraction of the concrete under test is representative of the concrete.
