UNE 84666:2020
The purpose of this standard is to establish the test method to follow the quantification of organic acids present in plant extracts, for use in cosmetics. This method is applicable to liquid or solid samples containing the following organic acids: tartaric acid (CAS No. 133-37-9 / 147-71-7 / 87-69-4), glycolic acid (CAS No. 79-14-1), malic acid (CAS No. 97-67-6), ascorbic acid (CAS No. 50-81-7 / 62624-30-0), lactic acid (CAS No. 50-21-5), acetic acid (CAS No. 64-19-7) and / or citrus acid (CAS No. 77-92-9 / 5949-29-1).
