This UNE specification establishes the requirements to define, implement, maintain, asess and continually improve a management system for protection against violence in organizations that carry out activities aimed directly or indirectly at minors and people in vulnerable situations. in the fields of social action and integration, education, sports, leisure and free time. It also provides a series of recommendations that help to understand and implement the established requirements. The specification applies to the organizations mentioned in the first paragraph, regardless of their nature, size, mission or purpose, and the activities they carry out, both directly (by their own means) and indirectly (through partners or in collaboration with them). The management system allows the organizations subject to the specification to comply with their protection policy and demonstrate their ability to prevent, communicate and respond effectively, where appropriate, to situations of violence that may occur in their field of action. Business organizations that employ minors and vulnerable people as workers are excluded from the scope of application.
