This standard defines the particular characteristics, dimensions and test methods applicable to the vertical delineators made of plastic used in the road sides as a guidance for the road users. The purpose of this standard is to define the characteristics to be met by junction markers used in road markers and to describe the test methods for verifying these characteristics. This standard applies to junction markers made of polymeric material. NOTE The junction markers that are the subject of this standard are not within the scope of EN 12899-3. Therefore, only the clauses of EN 12899-3 that are cited throughout the text of this standard are applicable.
