This standard defines a base semantics that allows to represent the relevant information in which the tourist destination is formed (tourist destination, tourist resources within the destination, travel experiences), ensuring - through its use - the interoperability of its tourist platforms and the city and territory among themselves and with third-party developments. This standard provides the tourist activity with a semantic data structure that makes it easier for developers to work, allows all actors to take full advantage of current technological potential, and facilitates the tourist that uses the destination platforms to access relevant information in an intuitive and agile way. This revision includes new taxonomies and vocabularies to the norm related to safety in cases of pandemic.
