This standard establishes a set of requirements and recommendations for the collection, exploitation and analysis of the tourist data of a destination that allow obtaining information and transforming it into knowledge. This knowledge management will add value to tourism products and services, differentiating them competitively and will allow better planning of the tourist destination. This standard is addressed to the managing bodies of tourist destinations.
