The purpose of this standard is to specify the requirements for the management of mediation by mediation institutions and mediators and establishes general criteria that allow the procedures and documents to be used to be formally unified. All the requirements of this standard are generic and apply to all mediation institutions and mediators, whether they are carried out between individuals and between companies or between individuals and companies regardless of their type or size, being applicable to any mediation procedure.
