This standard provides additional requirements with respect to the minimum mandatory requirements established in RD 614/2001 for the protection of workers' health and safety against electrical hazards. It also provides health and safety recommendations with the aim of harmonising and improving the integration of safety in the execution of this type of work. The additional requirements included in this document do not replace those set out in the specific regulations applicable to work on electrical installations, which must be complied with in all cases.
