This standard establishes a system of visual classification of wooden poles used for overhead lines made with the following species of coniferous wood of Spanish origin: Pinus sylvestris L. and Pinus nigra Arnold subsp. Salzmannii. and includes characteristic values of mechanical properties obtained in accordance with UNE-EN 14229.
