Replace fourth paragraph except Note 3 and Note 4 with the following: This document deals with the reasonably foreseeable hazards presented by appliances that are encountered by all persons in and around the installation place. However, in general, it does not take into account: children playing with the appliance; the use of the appliances by young and very young children; the use of shaver, wet shaver, animal clipper, hair clipper, and appliances for manicure and pedicure by older children without supervision; the use of animal shearer by non-trained personnel. It is recognized that very vulnerable people may have needs beyond the level addressed in this standard.
